Welcome to Predicto! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Predicto web application and its services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Predicto provides a user-friendly platform that allows you to upload datasets and build machine learning prediction models. Our goal is to make advanced data modeling accessible and easy for everyone.
2. User Accounts
To use our Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Data Privacy and Security
We take data security seriously and are committed to implementing commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data. We use industry-standard protocols, encryption, and secure storage solutions to safeguard your information.
However, you acknowledge and agree that no method of data transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data. You agree that Predicto will not be held liable for any data breaches, unauthorized access, or loss of data that may occur due to malicious activities, hacking, or other unforeseen security incidents. You upload and use your data at your own risk.
4. Your Content and Data
When you upload data to the Service, you retain all ownership rights to that data. You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of the data you upload. You warrant that you have all necessary rights to use and upload the data.
5. License for Use of Data
For users on our free plans, you grant Predicto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your uploaded data to train and improve our machine learning models. This is done to enhance the performance and accuracy of the models available on the platform and to conduct research to develop new features and services. Your data will be aggregated and anonymized where possible to protect your privacy. This license does not apply to paid plans, where data will be used solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. You shall not upload any data that is illegal, harmful, threatening, or infringing upon the intellectual property rights of others.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Predicto and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service.
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data.
In all cases, Predicto’s total liability for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of your country, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
